Bosch presents the new 6 star rating EcoLogixx tumble dryer that sets groundbreaking standards in energy efficiency and laundry care. The EcoLogixx is gentler, quieter and more energy efficient than any other product in its category. Underpinned by the innovative ActiveAir technology, which allows for heat pump operation, it means laundry can now be dried as effectively as a breeze, with maximum convenience, fabric protection and less impact on the environment.

Energy efficiency
In contrast to conventional dryers, Bosch users ActiveAir Technology, an innovative development which operates without using conventional reheating. Drying air is heated with the help of the heat pump and existing heat is efficiently re-used, making it the most economical condenser dryer on the market. The EcoLogixx is so energy efficient, an energy star rating category doesn’t even exist for it. In fact, it surpasses the energy consumption qualifying limit for six stars by 16.3%. This clearly earns its pole position in the heat-pump tumble dryer ranks as Australia’s most energy efficient dryer. Better yet, EcoLogixx energy consumption is 55 percent below other current Bosch condenser dryers so there is a considerably lower impact on the household budget compared to standard dryers. This is a welcome innovation in times of rising energy prices, and a step towards a sustainable and ecologically responsible household.

Customised Drying at your fingertips
The conscious preservation of resources is not just limited to electricity consumption. Retaining the value of and carefully handling clothing is also important for sustainability and benefits both the environment and hip pocket. The Bosch EcoLogixx is equipped with the ‘Sensitive Drying System’. This is a unique combination of a large 6.5 kg anti-wrinkle stainless steel drum, SoftFlow paddles that cradle laundry back and forth making it gentle on fabrics and the ability to select the right drying program. For shirts and blouses, high-tech fabrics, delicates and wool, there is a sensor-controlled custom setting, with advanced technology monitoring the level of drying: cupboard-dry, iron-dry or extra-dry. The result is fluffy, soft laundry with fibres intact and almost no wrinkles.

Safe and maintenance-free
Added to functionality is convenience in the form of a maintenance-free condenser: The fully automatic self-cleaning condenser means manual cleaning is a thing of the past. Full drying performance with the lowest consumption values are thereby ensured for the life of the appliance.
